Aircraft Sales Takeoff
Share

China's home-grown aircraft Modern Ark 60 has received 249 orders worldwide since 2005, as demand for energy-efficient propeller aircraft has been on the rise amid high global oil prices. So far 66 aircraft have been delivered, said the aircraft manufacturer Xi'an Aircraft International Corp.

The company aims to take the biggest share of the world market for turboprop regional aircraft by 2020, boosted by the Modern Ark experiencing a global sales surge, said Jiang Jianjun, General Manager of Xi'an Aircraft International Corp.
