The Fortune China website published a list of the top 500 Chinese enterprises. It's good indeed to see that state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have become a dominant force in driving the country's economic growth, but over-concentration of resources in their hands—especially in the hands of central SOEs—means that privately owned enterprises are left with less and less space to survive.
