Snow falls on the Horgos Railway Station in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on December 25.

The second cross-border railway between Kazakhstan and China passing through the Horgos Station was opened on December 22, 2012. During the past year, the railway has carried over 1.6 million tons of commodities, 10 times of the amount carried by the first line between the two countries during its first year of operation.
