Sinopec's ethene production base located in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, went into operation on August 13. Ethene is an important raw material in the petrochemical industry. The Wuhan production base will bring about 120 billion yuan ($19.62 billion) in industrial output for upstream and downstream companies and create 100,000 jobs (XIAO YIJIU)
