Farmers install a biogas digester made from fiberglass in Enshi Tujia Autonomous Prefecture of central China's Hubei Province on June 25.

In the last decade, a total of 545,000 household biogas digesters have been constructed in the prefecture, cutting coal consumption by 436,000 tons and CO2 emissions by 1 million tons.
