Central China Province Warns of Dusty Winds
Share

Meteorological authorities in central China's Henan Province issued a dusty wind alert November 11, the fourth such alert in two days, warning of light dusty winds in 15 cities in the province.

The alert warned that the wind power may reach an average of five cities including Sanmenxia, Luoyang and Jiaozuo.

In the provincial capital, Zhengzhou City, wind power may exceed six or seven and yellow sand may be visible in the air.

Authorities warned people to avoid riding bikes and passing by large billboards during the windy weather.

In north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Hebei Province, authorities warned November 11 of strong winds over the coming two days as temperatures drop by up to 10 degrees centigrade.
