Cycler Ren Chengyuan Continues China's Winning Streak

China's Ren Chengyuan maintained China's golden streak in the women's cross-country event at 16th Asian Games on November 18.

Mountain bike comes back in the Asian Games after not being contested in Doha four years ago. China has won the women's cross-country event every time it has been contested in the Asian Games and now Ren grabbed the glory once again.

Ren, 24, finished in one hour 46 minutes and 35 seconds with eight laps in the 43-kilometer battle. Her compatriot Shi Qianglan grabbed the silver and Katayama Rie took the third.
