December 10 marks the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This landmark document enshrines the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being. Chinese President Xi Jinping has underscored the need to follow the Chinese path of comprehensive progress in human rights. Xi is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission.
