Themed “Leading with Technology, Shaping an Intelligent Future,” the 2025 Chinese Enterprise Global Image Summit was held in Hefei, Anhui Province, from November 7 to 9.

The event provided a platform for Chinese enterprises to explore opportunities for enhancing their global corporate image and for promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning.

The meeting announced the results of the 2025 China Enterprise International Image Construction Case Collection Activity. Since 2018, hundreds of cases have been included in the “going global” database of Chinese companies. Specifically, the activity aims to collect typical cases of companies establishing a corporate image overseas and establish best practices for presenting China and its companies to the world.

Faced with the restructuring of global industrial and supply chains, rising geopolitical tensions and growing trade protectionism, steadily exploring new paths for cooperation, development and mutual benefit is a constant guiding principle for Chinese enterprises going global, Chang Bo, President of China International Communications Group (CICG), said during the conference.

Chang said China should build open, inclusive and sustainable high-quality platforms for overseas expansion, turning the country’s technological strengths and development experience into shared and practical global public goods. In doing so, Chinese enterprises can ensure that the fruits of innovation benefit other markets and foster a responsible and trustworthy image abroad, he pointed out.

Chang added that Chinese companies should also contribute to this effort by deepening exchange and mutual learning among civilizations, as their activities overseas are at the forefront of cross-cultural dialogue. “While taking part in global industrial chain cooperation and pursuing international development, they are naturally positioned to represent China on the world stage, since the image of the nation and that of its enterprises are closely intertwined,” he said.

In recent years, Chinese enterprises have delivered impressive performances in emerging and future industries. As a key driver in cultivating and advancing new quality productive forces, private enterprises have been at the forefront of innovation, making continuous progress in creativity, technological breakthroughs and ecosystem building, and steadily enhancing their position in global industrial and value chains, Wang Hongyan, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, said.

Wang expressed hope that private enterprises will seize the historic opportunities brought by the new wave of technological and industrial transformation, continue to strengthen their capacity for independent innovation and focus on advancing toward higher-end, smarter and greener development. This will lay solid foundation for Chinese enterprises to build a positive global image through high-quality development.

The conference was hosted by CICG and co-organized by the China Center for International Communication Development and Anhui New Media Group. More than 300 guests were in attendance, including government officials, representatives from domestic enterprises and think tank experts.
