Victor Li, (L), the elder son of Li Ka Shing, hands a cheque to Gao Siren, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Li Ka Shing Foundation donated 30 million HK dollars ($3.85 million) to earthquake victims and schools in Sichuan Province. Li Ka Shing, a homegrown legend and a world famous tycoon, said the act of God was unexpected, but human beings can decide to help each other. (Xinhua)
