Nuclear Power Plant
 
 

Following feasibility research in the spring of 1979, Guangdong Dayawan Nuclear Power Plant began its first-stage construction in April 1984, with the first concrete being poured in August 1987. The No. 1 unit of the plant was incorporated into grids on August 31, 1993, and put into business operation on May 6, 1994. The nuclear power plant passed an acceptance test by the State and was began formal operations on December 17, 1996.
