Ecological Planting
A flock of European geese walk by the paddy field in Tonggui Township in the Xingqing District of Yinchuan, capital of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on August 20, 2012. Nearly 5,000 mu (333.33 hectares) of organic rice fields with 50 geese seedlings per mu were planted in Xingqing in 2012. Since the European geese eat up weeds and pests in the fields, the revenue increased by above 1,000 yuan (about $157) per mu (XINHUA)
