Aftermath of Earthquake
Local governments allocate 7 million yuan ($1.11 million) and sent relief materials to Narat Town in Xinyuan County in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on July 3, after a 6.6-magnitude quake jolted Xinjiang early July 1, toppling 7,500 houses and leaving 24 people injured. Relief materials include rice, bottled water, cooking oil, and tents and quilts (XINHUA)
