For Offspring
Zou Lianying, 83, walks in the forest she planted in Huzhou Village in central China’s Jiangxi Province on May 8, 2012. For over 18 years, she planted over 8 million trees across 433 hectares. Although her property is valued at 12 million yuan ($1.91 million), she lives an austere life and was reluctant to sell even one of the trees, insisting that she is doing a significant thing for her offspring (XINHUA)
