A farmer is on his way home at the Pengjiazhai, a stockaded village in central China's Hubei Province, on April 25. Situated north of the Wuling Mountains, this Tujia minority ethnic group village features buildings with hanging corners, looking like a land of idyllic beauty. The village is home to 260 people in 48 households. People here live a life of getting up when the sun rises, and go to bed when the sun falls, not disturbed by the changes outside (XINHUA) |
