Tibetan New Year
Ornamental ram heads, symbolic of new year's good tidings, are on sale at a shop in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region on February 6, 2012. Shops in Lhasa were full of goods for sale, and local residents started preparing food and home decorations to greet the coming Tibetan New Year on February 22. Ethnic Tibetans enjoy two long holidays in 2012 to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year and Tibetan New Year respectively (XINHUA)
