Poverty Relief
Members at the Ningxia Volunteer Workers Association deliver flour and cooking oil to farmers who just moved to Tongxin County in the city of Wuzhong, in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on January 15, 2012. The Ningxia Government invested a total of 2.67 billion yuan ($423.81 million) in 2011 to enable more than 30,000 farmers coming from dry and barren mountainous areas to settle into new homes in Tongxin and alleviate poverty (XINHUA)
