Helping Hand

The Chinese People's Liberation Army sent a 50-member medical team for humanitarian relief in flood-hit Pakistan since October 20. The Chinese Government had previously donated emergency humanitarian aid worth 30 million yuan (about 4.7 million U.S. dollars) to the Pakistani government in September. Pakistani officials said that nearly 7 million people have been affected by floods triggered by monsoons in southern parts of the country in August and September (XINHUA)
