A pair of spotted deer sent by Taiwan as gifts to the Chinese mainland arrive at the Liugongdao National Forest Park in the city of Weihai in east China's Shandong Province on April 16. The deer, together with two goats sent by Taiwan, arrived at the state-level forest park, 87 percent of which is covered by natural forest. The Chinese mainland sent a pair of pandas, Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan (together meaning "reunion"), as a gift to Taiwan in December 2008 (XINHUA)
