Consolation
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao (second from left) consoles Lin Baolan, a villager in her seventies who lost three relatives in a recent flood, at a relocation spot in Shuangshang Village, southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on June 20 during his inspection tour. Wen urged the regional government to take anti-flood measures to keep losses to a minimum. Persistent rain in 10 regions of south China had left 175 people dead and 107 missing as of 8 a.m. on June 21, according to the Office of State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters and the Ministry of Civil Affairs (XINHUA)
