Heading to Shanghai
The Little Mermaid statue and the rock she rested on are lifted onto a truck at a farewell ceremony in Copenhagen Harbor, Denmark, on March 25. The statue, Denmark's top tourist attraction, is removed from Copenhagen Harbor for the first time since it was placed there in 1913. The 1.25-meter statue, which honors the memory of Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen, is heading to Shanghai to become the centerpiece of the Denmark Pavilion at the World Expo site (XINHUA)
