Preparation
Fishing boats prepare to set out to sea from Laizhou City in east China's Shandong Province on January 27. Under the influence of warm air from the south, sea ice covering the Bohai Sea and the north part of the Yellow Sea has been thawing. The freezing weather since January 3 was the worst since 1967, and is estimated to have reduced catches by some 200,000 tons (XINHUA)
