Ground-breaking Ceremony
A ground-breaking ceremony of the Wenchang Space Launch Center is held in south China's Hainan Province, on September 14. The Wenchang Space Launch Center, the fourth in China, is designed for launching new-generation rocket-carriers and space vehicles like geo-synchronous (GEO) satellites, polar-orbiting satellites, space stations and deep-space exploration satellites. It is scheduled to be completed by 2013 (XINHUA)
