Direct Voyage
The combined passenger-cargo vessel New Golden Bridge II prepares to leave the Gangmawei Port in Fuzhou, capital of southeast China's Fujian Province, on July 13. The first combined passenger-cargo vessel, with 630 passengers, left the Chinese mainland bound directly for Taiwan's Keelung Port on Monday morning. It is the first such voyage since the mainland and Taiwan started direct air and sea transport and postal services last December (XINHUA)
