A Lotus World
Lotuses in full bloom at the Old Summer Palace in Beijing on June 29. Yuanming Yuan, or the Garden of Eternal Brightness, is set to kick off its 14th annual Lotus Festival on Wednesday. The garden has the largest area covered by lotuses and the most lotus breeds in Beijing. It will run until August 31 (XINHUA)
