Dragon Boat Race
Athletes compete in an invitation race to celebrate the Duanwu (Dragon Boat) Festival, which falls on May 28 this year, in Shanghai on May 24. The Duanwu Festival occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. The focus of the celebrations includes eating zongzi, which are large rice wraps, drinking realgar wine, and racing dragon boats (XINHUA)
