No.4 Cross Yangtze River Starts Construction
A crane drive piles as the construction of the No.4 Cross Yangtze River Bridge started in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, December 28, 2008. The 28.996-km-long bridge has a span of 5.448 km, the longest in China and the third longest in the world. The No. 4 bridge is scheduled to be completed in 2010 and put into operation in 2013.
