SEF Reelects Chairman
Chiang Pin-kung delivers a speech in Taipei on being reelected the chairman of the Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF), on December 2, 2008. Chiang, appointed chairman in May this year after the SEF was restructured, held talks with the mainland's Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) President Chen Yunlin in Taipei last month. Their meeting marked the first visit of an ARATS leader to the island. (Xinhua)
