HDTV Signals Used in Beijing Olympics
The photo taken on July 29, 2008 shows the master control room of the Beijing Olympic Broadcasting Co. Ltd. (BOB) in the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) in Beijing. It's said that high definition signals will be first-ever used for TV relays for all 28 events of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The BOB will produce live TV signals of 5,400 hours for right-holding broadcasters and it's estimated that more than four billion viewers will enjoy the Olympic events through TV broadcasts.
