More International Relief Supplies Flow in Myanmar
Cyclone survivors sit at a relief center in Kyauktan, some 48 km southeast of Yangon, Myanmar, May 11, 2008. According to an official updated death toll Sunday, a total of 28,485 people have lost their lives in the Cyclone Nargis with altogether 33,416 people remained missing. More aircrafts laden with relief materials from the international community touched down at the Yangon International Airport on Sunday for the delivery to the cyclone-devastated regions. The aid supplies included that from the King of Thailand, International Committee for the Red Cross, Greek, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Petronas of Malaysia and Pakistan. China has sent three batches of relief materials to Myanmar by May 10. (Xinhua/AFP)
