Illegal Publications Destroyed to Boost IPR Protection
The picture taken on April 20, 2008 shows illegal publications get destroyed in east China's Anhui Province. Chinese authorities launched a nationwide campaign to destroy some 47 million pornographic and illegal publications on Sunday as part of an ongoing campaign to strengthen intellectual property rights protection. According to official statistics, in the past two decades, China has closed down 238 pirate disc production lines, solved more than 400,000 cases of IPR infringement and confiscated more than 1.3 billion illegal publications.
