'Keep Britain Tidy' Kicks Off in London
A giant cigarette butt is pictured in the center of Trafalgar Square in central London, April 8, 2008, highlighting the scale of the country's litter problem. 'Keep Britain Tidy' is run by the environmental charity ENCAMS (Environmental Campaigns), which is part funded by the UK government. The majority of their campaigning is around the issue of litter. They have been using 'Keep Britain Tidy' as their slogan for almost fifty years. (Xinhua/AFP)
