Funeral of 3 Firefighters Held in Urumqi
Firefighters attend the funeral of three colleagues in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, January 7, 2008. Three firefighters, namely Zhu Xiaolei, Zhang Yu and Gao Feng, were killed in the rescue operation after a blaze broke out at a plaza in Urumqi on January 2. The blaze killed at least two other people and engulfed the whole building housing more than 1,000 stalls of clothing, cosmetics, toys and many offices. (Xinhua)
