Hubei Museum Opens to the Public Free of Charge
Visitors enjoy a tour at Hubei Museum, November 6, 2007. With a subsidy of 30 million yuan ($3.95 million) from the provincial government, the Museum opens to the public free of charge from that day. Located on the East Lake, Hubei Museum is one of the best-known museums in China, treasuring up some 200,000 state-level historic and cultural relics, including chime bells. (Xinhua)
