Chinese Embroidery Masterpieces Exhibition Held in Jordan
Local visitors are fascinated by the presentation from a female handcrafter of traditional embroidery at the Royal Culture Center in central Amman, capital of Jordan, October 24, 2007. The Chinese Embroidery Masterpieces Exhibition will be held in Amman for seven days. Some 60 works has been presented in the exhibition hall, falling into different categories and styles, including single-sided, double-sided, flat, crisscross and cut silk. All the works demonstrate the delicacy and elegance of Suzhou embroidery, one of the four main embroidery styles of China, which can date back more than 2,000 years. (Xinhua)
