Caring for the Deaf Children in Northwest China
Deaf and hard-of-hearing children from poor families learn how to speak after wearing the free hearing aid at Ningxia Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities, September 27, 2007. China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped launched a program in Yinchuan, capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, donating hearing aids to some 370 deaf and hard-of-hearing children in poor families.
