Martina Hinggis Out at the Second Round of China Open 2007
Swiss Martina Hinggis hit the ball at the second round of women's single of China Open 2007, September 19. China's Peng Shuai rocked home fans by upsetting fifth seed Martina Hingis. The 21-year-old player from Tianjin defeated the Swiss 7-5, 6-1. "I am surprised by myself," said Peng, who lost to Hingis 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 in their first clash at the U.S. Open last year. Peng will next face Frenchwoman Amelie Mauresmo, who beat Romania's Ioana Raluca Olaru 6-2, 6-2. (Xinhua)
