China's Terra-cotta Army on Display at the British Museum
The picture taken on September 11, 2007 shows the life-size terra-cotta figures on preview display of "The First Emperor: China's Terra-cotta Army" at the British Museum. The exhibition includes a number of the world-famous terra-cotta warriors from Xi'an, which were buried alongside China's first emperor Qin Shi Huang in readiness for the afterlife, as well as some of the most striking recent discoveries made on the site. It will be open to the public between September 13 and April 6, 2008. (Xinhua)
