| China's Xinzhou 60 Aircraft Debuts in Indonesia | | Merpati Nusantara Airlines, Indonesia's second largest airline held the new route opening ceremony for the use of China's Xinzhou 60 aircraft in Jakarta and Surabaya simultaneously on September 10, 2007. China Aviation Industry Corporation I, manufacturer of the aircraft will supply a total of 15 aircrafts according to the contract signed in June 2006. The first overseas order for the Xinzhou 60 came when Zimbabwe bought three of the aircrafts in November 2005, all of which were delivered by the end of 2006. (Xinhua) |
