Rising Tide Sweeps 30 People Away in Zhejiang
The picture taken on August 2, 2007 shows local people on the bank of the Qiantangjiang River waiting for the news from the rescue team in Zhejiang Province. At least 11 people are missing and 22 rescued after a swiftly rising tide swept over 30 people out to sea in east China's Zhejiang Province on Thursday. Rescue workers stated that those swept into the water had been swimming or walking on the nearby levee in Qibao, Xiasha District, around 20 km southeast from downtown Hangzhou, the provincial capital.
