The 7th Chinese National Games for the Disabled Opens
The photo taken on May 12, 2007 shows the opening ceremony of the Seventh Chinese National Games for the Disabled held in Kunming, capital city of China's southwest Yunnan province. The Games, slated for May 12-20, will be the biggest in scale and number of participants. Some 2,251 athletes of 35 delegations from 31 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and Hong Kong and Macao special administration regions will compete in 552 events of 15 sports. (Xinhua)
