Lusheng Party in Guizhou
Several Miao (a native ethnic group in China) boys are playing Lusheng at the Lusheng Party, also known as Flower-jumping Festival in Jiupan Village of Huaxi District, Guiyang City, China's southwest Guizhou Province, February 26, 2007. Held between the ninth day and fifteenth day of the first Chinese lunar month each year, the party attracts thousands of Miao people. The young men and women dressed in new costumes participating the party with hopes that everything goes well and the country remains prospered in the new year. (Xinhua)
