Qiu Jian of China Wins Gold in Men's 50m Rifle Three Positions

Qiu Jian of China won the men's 50m rifle three positions gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games on Sunday.

Qiu scored a total of 1,272.5 points. Jury Sukhorukov of Ukraine got the silver in 1,272.4 points. Rajmond Debevec of Slovenia took the bronze in 1,271.7.

Matthew Emmons of the U.S. scored 4.4 points in his last shot to finish fourth in 1,270.3 points.
