Phelps Wins the Fourth Gold at the Beijing Olympics

Michael Phelps of the United States won the men's 200m butterfly final at the Beijing Olympic Games on Wednesday, adding his gold count to four.

The 23-year-old American clocked 1 minute, 52.03 seconds to better his own world record of 1 minute, 52.09 seconds set in May 2007.

Hungary's Laszlo Cesh took the silver, and the bronze went to Japanese Takeshi Matsuda.

China's medal hopeful Wu Peng finished the fourth in 1 minute, 54.35 seconds, 2.32 seconds behind Phelps.
