Hong Kong film producer Wong Jing's latest work, Ying Han, featuring mainland actor Liu Ye and veteran Hong Kong actor Anthony Wong, has been accepted into the 13th Pusan International Film Festival slated to open on October 2.

Considered the Chinese version of Forrest Gump, Ying Han revolves around the story of a retired army man who is not intelligent but finds self-worth in battling the dark side of the society.

The film will enter the international market starting at the Pusan Film Festival, producer Wong Jing said.

The film is scheduled to hit the big screen in China during the New Year season.
