Chinese Vice Premier Meets U.S. Labor Secretary
Zhang hailed the China-U.S. cooperation in the fields of employment and social security, stressing that China would like to step up dialogue and exchanges with the U.S. side in those areas
 

Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang met here Monday with Elaine Lan Chao, Labor Secretary of the United States.

Zhang hailed the China-U.S. cooperation in the fields of employment and social security, stressing that China would like to step up dialogue and exchanges with the U.S. side in those areas to boost steady development of the cooperation.

Chao said she will continue to promote cooperation in relevant fields.

Chao and Secretary of Health Michael O. Leavitt led a U.S. presidential delegation to the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games.
