China on Wednesday condemned the recent suicide bombing attack in eastern Algerian province of Bumerdes, in which 43 people were killed, and many others wounded.

"China resolutely opposes any form of terrorism and strongly supports the Algerian government's efforts on fighting terrorism and safeguarding country's stability," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang at a regular press conference.

Qin conveyed condolence and sympathy to the victims and their relatives as well as the injured.
