In 1988, from April 30 to October 30, the specialized exposition Relaxation World Expo in Brisbane, Australia brought China back into the world's center.

To better convey the message of "Leisure in the Age of Technology," the China Pavilion screened a 360-degree movie titled China Sights, which received a warm welcome.

The China Pavilion was rated as a Five-Star Pavilion and the Best Pavilion, which are the highest honors China has received in its history of Expo participation. It attracted more than 5 million visitors, more than any other national pavilion.
