On December 15, Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated the U.S.-China Business Council (USCBC) Board of Directors and all its members on the council's 50th anniversary and sent his greetings to people from all sectors in the United States who have long cared for and supported China-U.S. economic and trade cooperation. Founded in 1973, the USCBC is a non-governmental trade organization established by the U.S. prior to the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. It has long been committed to promoting the development of China-U.S. relations and bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
