The concept of the Chinese Dream was first proposed by Xi Jinping while visiting the exhibition The Road to Rejuvenation on November 29, 2012. Then, Xi, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, said this dream gives expression to the overall interests of the Chinese nation and the Chinese people, and represents the shared aspiration of all the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation.
